Any entry points that have glass doors as their primary material are referred as glass doors. When it comes to safety and security every consumer refers a glass door for their very household. There are mainly two types of glass doors sliding and swinging glass doors. There are also frameless glass swing doors which create a safe, strong and secure of closing the entrance while maintaining the livelihood of the living space and also giving it a creative and arty look. A manual swing glass door is the one which needs manual push or pull to open and close it. Majority of the swing doors are not automatic and they require an external force to swing open it. These types of glass doors can either be framed or frameless depending on the requirement of the design.
Swing doors have a general property of double action hinges that makes it a special king of glass door. This property allows it to open either outwards or inwards, but usually it is kept closed. Depending on this property, glass doors are specified into some special types, one of which is a self bolting door. These doors have special hinges connected with it that permits the panel leaf to move so that the door itself becomes a giant bolt which gives a better security. French swing doors also known as casement doors are the ones where all or some panels will be in a casement door. A traditional casement door has mould panels at the bottom. Another type is a mead door which is very well known for swinging both ways, inwards and outwards and it is also prohibited for forced entry due to its complicated design.
Then comes a Dutch door, also known as stable door which consists of two halves top and bottom half. The top half of the Dutch door operates independently unlike the bottom half. And then come the garden door which is much likely a French window which is safe and secure because it has a single operating door.
